Application Tips :
  • If your lip color suddenly look unsuitably dark or severe then bled in a lighter toned topcoat.
  • For best coverage, relax your lips when applying lipliner.
  • To apply gloss or lipstick, open slightly and say 'Oh!' so that you can reach the entire lip surface.
  • To tone down a way-too-bright shade, add a light topcoat of beige or neutral brown.
  • For instant pearlization, or try Espresso to deepen any shade use Continuous Color Lipstick, Pink Chic .
  • Adding lip gloss on top of any color will change the look.

      This is the first lip color I have tried which really [!] stays on all day. I do not have to touch up after lunch and still have color on my lips. I do not use a washcloth to remove my makeup because it will not come out of the cloth--not the lipstick nor the makeup. I use baby wipes. I have used Noxema products since I was a teenager [which was a looong time ago; I am 65.] and I use Cover Girl exclusively. That came about just as trial and error. I tried more expensive products and did not get the results of CG. I currently use the Aqua Smoothers daily mosturizer with SPF 15 and the Smoohters makeup. I really prefer no makeup, but I go to work and need to look my best. It takes no more than 5 minutes to clean my face, apply moisturizer, apply makeup with a sponge, add a little blush and lipstick and I'm set for the day. Thank you, Cover Gil!
