Equalactin citrus flavored chewable tablets for irritable bowels

  • Irritable bowel symptoms.
  • Abdominal discomfort.
  • Irregularity.
  • Alternating bouts of diarrhea and constipation.
  • Loose bowels.

INGREDIENTS:
Active Ingredients:
Each chewable tablet contains: Calcium Polycarbophil 625mg.
Inactive Ingredients:
Citirc Acid, Crospovidone, Dextrose, Flavor, Magnesium Stearate, Microcrystaliine Cellulose.

DIRECTIONS:
Chew tablets thoroughly; do not swallow whole.
Adults and children 12 years of age and over: up to 8 tablets daily in divided does of 2 tables per dose.
Children(6 to 12 years): up to 4 tablets daily in divided does of 1 tables per dose.
Children (2 to under 6 years): up to 2 tablets daily in divided does of 1 tables per dose.
For children under 2 years of age: Consult a physician. When using this product for relief of constipation, drink a full glass (8 fl. oz. ) of water or other liquid with each dose.

WARNINGS:

  • Do not use this product for more than 1 week unless directed by a doctor.
  • Ask a doctor before use if you have: abdominal painnauseavomitinga sudden change in bowel habits over a period of 2 weeks.
  • Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking an antibiotic containing tetracycline as this product contains calcium.
  • Stop use and ask a doctor if: rectal bleeding occursyou fail to have bowel movement after use of laxative. These may indicate a serious condition.
  • As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

    My order was submitted on 2/4/2017 and received on 2/23/2017. On followup for status was advised there was an inventory problem. I have ordered this product many times before and had no problems. Product was as ordered.

    I have been using this product for IBS for many years as it has been very effective in controlling my IBS. I used to be able to purchase it in local pharmacies but not so for about 8 years. I would recommend it to anyone who has IBS.

    This is the only medication that has helped my constipation since I was a child. It tastes good and it helps 100%. I tried every medication my gastrologist suggested. Four years ago I was in my hospitals pharmacy looking for vitamins and I came across Equalactin. I am so glad that I bought it because I will never buy anything else again. I don't understand why local pharmacies don't sell it. Thanks to the internet I can buy it online.
