The active ingredient in 4Way is ,Phenylephrine Hydrochloride unlike Advil and most others, where the active ingredients is Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride. Oxymetazoline s very fast, whuch is why so many use it, but it also has a strong rebound effect. Phenylephrine is slower, but does not rebound. Plus, 4Way in particular,includes as in "inactive" ingredient boric acid, which reduces inflammation (anr/r iritation from any other ingresients) without being toxic. No other nasal spray includes boric acid. And that is why 4Way gets 5 stars from me and no other nasal spray does.
