It does what it is intended to do.

If I start taking Thera Zinc as soon as I feel that I'm dragging, feeling soreness in my throat, and/or stuffiness in my sinuses, I can avoid the full effects of a cold. It takes 2-3 days and I'm close to totally well again. I gave it 5 stars because of that, but the flavor is not nearly as good in the round Alka Seltzer type lozenge as the hard candy one I started using a couple of years ago.
