It is the ideal winter support. Samucus nigra L. is the latin name for Black Elder. The dark blue/black berries of this plant have many naturally-occuring nutritional substances such as Rutin, Quercetin (flavanoids) and Anthocyanins. Current research supports the long held beliefs about Elderberry's healthy benefits on he body. Elderberry syrup has been traditionally used to help support the immune system, especially during the winter season or when experiencing extra stress.

This product is like gold when sick. I was in the mid of a bad cold. A friend suggested Elderberry syrup. Her house is never without, she said.
