A recorded voice exclaims 'time to take your pill', after a caregiver or professional programs the device to sound at appropriate medication-taking times. Can be programmed for four different times during the day or night. Has three different alarm modes- a beeping alarm, a silent blinking light(so you don't disturb others around you), and a talking reminder voice. The alarm activates three times, at the programmed time, then it indicates on the display, an X, if the dose is missed. Designed for people with limited dexterity, the pill case can easily be pushed open instead of lifting or turning.
